Birthday Project is Closed!
It's almost Taylor's birthday...and that mean time is running out for submissions. I've received hundreds of entries, great pictures and videos, and so if you'd like to participate, please do so now. I will no longer be accepting any more submissions on the
5th of February. At the moment, the video is already being put together. Hope to have it up soon for all to see!
If you were watching Access Hollywood on TV today, you must have spotted Taylor! They did the feature of Taylor and Vanessa Hudgens at the event of "Stuff You Must."
Taylor's fellow cast members mentioned him during an interview at the Push premiere:
“I’m so proud of him,” Kellen said of the recent bulk-up Taylor underwent to secure his role in “New Moon.”
But one of their co-stars, Edi Gathegi, who plays Laurent, an old-school style vampire in the series, said he actually said he saw Taylor’s transformation as it happened.

Open Calls will be from 9AM to 12 Noon. Potential candidates will be given script material and asked to return in the afternoon to audition. There is no cost for this Open call and at no time will you be asked to pay for the ability to audition or if you are offered a role. Just show up between 9AM and 12 Noon at the above location.

Apparently, Lucy Hale auditioned for New Moon!
Lucy Hale, the star of The CW’s “Privileged,” revealed this week that she too has auditioned for a role in the upcoming sequel to Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight,” the highly anticipated “New Moon,” to be directed by Chris Weitz and going into production soon.

After originating the role of Jacob Black in the original crazy successful teen-vampires-stare-and-brood Twilight, there was talk Taylor Lautner wouldn’t be cast in the sequel. Fortunately, the director was convinced and Lautner is bulking up to play the older role in the follow-up New Moon, which will be rushed into theaters this November. Robert Pattinson, watch your back. Teen girls, get your screaming pipes ready.
SourceTaylor has canceled his appearance for the Twilight Convention in San Francisco, CA. I would have definitely attended.
Today we heard from Taylor Lautner's representative that he is unfortunately unable to appear at any conventions during this time frame due to prep work on the new film. While we never like to have guest cancellations we wish Taylor luck on the film of course and look forward to welcoming him at future dates now under discussion.

When the actor started laughing and showed us the caller ID, we saw that it was the one-and-only Taylor Lautner on the other end. "Taylor and I are going to his parents' place for dinner tonight — and then go to the gym," he said, adding that the duo were getting together to celebrate Lautner's recent re-signing as Jacob Black. Ace Showbiz posted a snippet of Taylor's interview with Popstar. He talks about what he does for those he loves on Valentine's Day, and it's really sweet. So be sure to read it!
Talking about Valentine's Day, which is four weeks to come, Taylor Lautner tells Popstar! Magazine that on that day he usually buys roses to be given to people who are close to him. "Roses for mom, roses for everybody! I'm a rosy kind of guy!" he says.

"I don't want anybody too uptight and trying to impress me. If they're just a dork and really outgoing and fun, then that works for me."
Taylor was recently interviewed by
OK! Magazine.
"I'm just really excited to get back to it really!" the young star tells OK!. "I'm so excited and appreciate all the support from my fans and I think Catherine Hardwicke did an amazing job on Twilight. I'm a fan of Chris Weitz and his work too so I can't wait to work with him as well."
